  1. Hi there. Firstly my sincerest of apologies for not replying sooner. have been on call at the hospital all week and work has ben hectic! it was practically a triangular existence of sleep, eat, work and the cycle repeated itself!. Thank you for the links I shall check them out "maybenot". Hi Miniforklift! great site you have going here! And I'm sure I'll be firing all sorts of questions in the future. As I said fairly new to bodybuilding. As for me being lactovegan, I've known nothing else in life. was born into that "lifestyle" so to speak. I seem to have a lot more energy cf to my friends who do consume meat and the likes. Here in the UK it's not so difficult to get all the nutrients I need for a balanced meal and even eating out doesn't prove too much of a problem. London especially has an array of vege friendly places and some exclusive vege restaurants. (the healthy ones) lol. I think as long as I consume a green juice every day that keeps me ticking a long nicely. I get most of my protein from legumes/tofu/soya/quinoa etc etc, and having learnt how to cook now, ( med school taught me that as living put of cans of baked beans wasn't the way forward and there were only so many fastfoods you could eat before you felt sick), I find its not so difficult to even prepare meals. One good thing I've learnt is preparing meals the night before helps a lot. So i'll just pack the meals into Tupperware and eat away during the day in between clincs/ward round etc etc. There's a green powder called "pure synergy" which has some amazing phytonutrients that I thoroughly recommend as a "wake me up" instead of coffee/tea etc etc. check it out if you haven't already. Hope all else on the site are well!! good day to you all! amz:)
  2. Hi there, This may have ben answered already, so forgive me for duplication if so. I'm new to the site and actually quite new to bodybuilding. I recently joined a gym about two months ago and am starting to workout 5 times a week. Have been lactovegan all my life, and friends who I have been working out with have been talking about Animal Pak as a supplement. However in understand this has bovine and shellfish origins? Is there a vegetarian/vegan equivalent of this? I'd be most grateful. regards Amz
