  1. Hi! I just recently did the 80/10/10 diet for a month and found I had a lot of issues with it. I am not sure whether I lost weight, I definitely got smaller but almost a little bony and then toned only my major muscle groups. I also found I got really light headed and would have to stop working out on that diet even though I felt like I was eating so much. I decided this week to start incorporating more cooked foods into my diet for the added protein and energy. If you want to stay 80/10/10 I would recommend more raw nuts. Nut butters are easy to make by simply processing them alone for about ten minutes then you can add a sweetener of your choice if you need. I would process nut butters with frozen fruit to make an "ice cream" and then top it with more fruit. Bananas, nuts, grapefruit, and apples were definitely staples for me. Hope I helped!

    Hello!

Thank you! I decided yesterday to join a gym so I am definitely going to be spending some time there. I want to push myself and as far as weight training goes doing it at home can be difficult. For diet I am going to start incorporating more vegan burgers and things. I'll still be eating a lot of raw foods but, like you said, diet is key and so I picked up a soy protein powder and some power bars to incorporate in my diet. Thank you for the suggestions!

    Hello!

Hi! My name is Emily. I have been vegan for a little over a year and a half and absolutely love it. I found this website because I am typically raw vegan but some weekends I will eat vegan when I feel like I need a little more variety. However, I have toned a little bit and lost weight but I am having a really difficult time gaining muscle. I envy the girls in Bikini Competitions and definitely want to get on a regimen like that just for my own fun. I am thinking about kicking my raw vegan habit and incorporating more protein and getting a gym membership. I work out at home and tend to rely on primarily jogging with weight training and pilates. I definitely appreciate feedback on the best way to turn my body into a fat burning machine. Help!
