Hello from the Southwestern US

Hi there! I have been lurking for a bit and it was time to say hi.

 

I went vegetarian a decade ago, and vegan five years ago. I was an amateur competitive dancer in my late terns and early 20s. I was in decent shape until about 22 or 23 years old when I started putting on weight. I went up to nearly 170. I lost the weight and then went vegetarian. And of course transitioning to vegan when I couldn't pretend that milking cows aren't living out their natural lives on old cow farms somewhere after they stop producing sufficient quantities of milk

 

Now. I am 40 and really want to improve my physical condition. I started Bodyrock.tv workouts 7 weeks ago. And am noticing meaningful changes. Because of a knee injury (and a history of going overboard and hurting myself) I am only working out 3 days a week.

 

I am looking forward to getting to know you and contributing to this community.

 

I am female

120 pounds

Around 19 BMI

Can do 7 consecutive knee push ups

 

My goals: gain muscle

Maintain my relatively youthful appearance

Do one standard push up

Proudly wear a bikini
