Old vegan, new weightlifter

Hello,

 

My name's Rosh, I'm 24 and live in Manchester, England.

 

I've been vegan for 8 years but only recently started weightlifting. So while I'm definitely not new to veganism, I am pretty new to trying to eat about 100g protein per day, so that's the new challenge!

 

I'm already noticing and enjoying the benefits of weightlifting. I feel stronger and fitter, even the way I walk feels different. I am very slowly starting to see some changes in my body too, though I am a little impatient with this. I won't lie, it's partly vanity, but I feel motivated to look strong for two other reasons to. For veganism, and for womankind! I want to show that vegans, women, and vegan women can be strong.

Seems like a good cause!
