Too bad we didn't get to hang much on Saturday. Perhaps next meet up

Where do you get your protein?

Quick update while I'm in here: on week five of the LMC workout program, absolutely loving it. Desperately need to get some progress pics up in here, taking some over the weekend.

Re: BlueRose's diet/exercise diary of Les Mills Combat!
So I'm looking into NASM since I get a discount from my P90X certification AND they have a payment plan. Recommendations from others on this?
I badly want the certification but am wondering on best steps on how to "break into the field", so to speak. I've been an independent fitness coach, I love helping others and it's my dream to eventually do this full time. Any trainers want to comment on how they got their professional skills developed, especially those who wanted to work at gyms at least part time?
Maybe I should post this in one of the message boards too

Finally updated my pic! Currently doing a Combat/Pump hybrid and training for a couple of 5Ks and a 10K! Been super busy but still at it. How is everyone?

Whoa, good work on all the training. I am keen to hear how you get on with all of your races that you have coming up.
Have you ran a half marathon before? Do you have any goals for it? Good luck!

Thanks!! Yeah I had a dream about running the 10K one, wow.

Never run a half marathon before. Never even run more than a 5K. MUCH training to do! I'll have to do a lot of it on a treadmill once the winter season is here.
My goal? To finish. I will be THRILLED to finish.

Well qualifying for Boston is pretty insane! I've ran 30+ half marathons and a dozen full ones, each one is always different! The half is a great distance, as is the 10km - there's a lot less that can go wrong hehe.
All the best with your training, keep up the good work MF.
