Everything is still awesome!
Here is a note:
Hey everyone,
I didn't want to have to write this request for loans, but producing a documentary is very expensive and it has been challenging for me to fully fund the production of Vegan Brothers in Iron (
http://www.veganbrothersiniron.com) on my own, which I have been doing for months. I've been using 100% of my income, credit cards, etc. to go towards this project. Everything I earn from Vega, Vegan Bodybuilding & Fitness, and my speaking tour goes right back into this project, producing Vegan Brothers in Iron, the documentary.
It is very expensive, especially this project, which is so much more in depth and a much larger production than my last documentary Vegan Fitness Built Naturally, which has moved 3,000 copies and changed many lives. We're filming in at least 5 major cities and have a budget 3 times the size of my last documentary. We're also filming for more than four months, whereas my last documentary was all shot in just about a week!
I wholeheartedly believe this will be one of the best vegan documentaries to come out. We've put so much heart and effort into this production and I have exhausted all of my resources. That is why I am now asking for some assistance in the form of loans. I have also exhausted myself, working around the clock filming, fundraising, working, traveling and speaking promoting this project that means the world to me.
We are not accepting any loans more than $1000.00 because we want to be able to pay them back in a timely manner. All loans will be paid back with a 10% interest within 6 months. The majority of the production expenses will be paid within the next 4-5 weeks. We don't actually have our trip to Phoenix to compete covered yet because of all the production expenses on equipment, etc. up to this point. So now I'm working on additional ways to generate income. Giacomo Marchese, who is featured in the documentary has been helping significantly with his
http://www.veganproteins.com website and Jimi Sitko who is also featured has been contributing to the fundraising. I have been working diligently to take on the bulk of the fundraising responsibility and ultimately, I am the one funding the entire project.
If you are interested in supporting us as we move forward, here is how it works:
All loans will be paid back within 6 months, though likely within 3-4 months and will have 10% interest included. If $1000.00 is borrowed, $1100.00 will be paid back. If $200.00 is borrowed, $220.00 will be paid back. You get the idea.
Each person who loans money for our production will be included in the credits of the documentary for their role in helping us fundraise.
Each person providing a loan over $100.00 will receive 10 FREE DVDS when the documentary comes out ($200.00 retail value) to have to re-sell, give away as gifts and keep as a thank-you from us.
I will also throw in a free Vegan Bodybuilding & Fitness t-shirt (styles and sizes based on current inventory) with any loan over $100.00
To provide a loan, please contact me via email at
robert@veganbodybuilding.com or via private message within this forum.
We have come so far and are so close and we're seeking out additional help to cover costs of production and travel to our competition which is only 4.5 weeks away!
I personally haven't missed a workout in 3 months and have been training harder than ever before in my life and I am in my best ever shape. Giacomo and Jimi are training incredibly hard as well and we plan to make a serious impact for veganism this April in Arizona.
Loans can be made to my paypal account at
robert@veganbodybuilder.com (note the er ending) for immediate access since I am on the road a lot over the next few weeks, or mailed to:
