Seems like there are intermittent problems with the site being slow lately. Sometimes it will take a long time after submitting a post for it to finish.

I've experiences this problem too. sometimes the weight or the post to complete it's scheduled course could take minutes. Between 30 seconds to two minutes.

it actually don't take as long as it seems to post after you press Submit. When I see it's taking to much time, I just do "view active topics" or whatever to skip this slowness and my new post is actually there. (But I did Copy it, just in case)

I do the same. However it is still a problem and it should be fixed.

I did a bit of database cleanup and it seems to help the speed a bit (it's hard for me to guage since I have a fairly speedy connection). Let me know if that made any difference.

If it doesn't then we will have to talk with the provider. We may have grown outside of the ability of what they can provide us at this point and may have to talk to them about other options.

Hey, things still seem to be painfully slow....I don't know anything about these things, but should I contact our hosting company?

I'll try to sort things out to get us moving quickly again. :)

Yes. Please contact them to see if we've had any changes in usage or if there is something wrong with the server. I believe we share this server with other organizations so it could be that one of them has increased their usage and it's impacting us.
