Mini Forklift
Hey guys, Anyone know where you can get hold of a non-leather belt that is IPF approved so I can use it in a meet? Thanks in advance
vegan_rossco
I know you probably want nz based equipment but I think the place the chewybaws works, strengthshopuk sell vegan ones, as I recall there are a couple of vegans working there
Mini Forklift
Thanks man, shame he's not on the forum anymore as he was pretty cool. I'm thinking that the trouble I'm going to run in with trying to get a good, non-leather powerlifting belt is that it's not going to be recognised by the IPF (which is the powerlifting federation that runs most of the meets in NZ). That's a problem!
vegan_rossco
I had a similar problem with taekwondo, I had to have apti recognised sparring gear but the stuff they had was all leather, I spoke to an instructor and they pointed me in the right direction.. Eventually!

heathdwatts
Strength Shop now sells their belts in the U.S., which results in a lower price and much lower shipping cost for U.S. customers. They are excellent belts.
